The rules of rummy are not as difficult as it seems. In this article will review the basic rules of this game. Numer of player: 2-8 Numer of cards: standard 52 card deck The game: 10 cards are given to each player. The game moves clockwise just like in poker or any other card game. Players have to draw from stock, discard, and building melds. Players either have to be the first with no cards or to earn the most points. Melds in Rummy: this means 3 or more cards of the same rank or sequences of 3 or more cards of one suit. Kaluki also known as Kalooki is a one of the most popular rummy skill games. This games is usually played with 2 or 4 players. Players get 13 cards from which they have to get rid of (just like in all other rummy games). You can get rid of them by meldning and laying them down.
Gin Rummy is another rummy game based on skill. 2-4 players are usually playing at once. The game is played with 52 cards. Depending on the number of players the cards are dealt. If there are 2 players 10 cards will be dealt to each. If there are 3 or 4 players 7 cards will be dealt. The goal is to get rid of the card. There are three ways to win in gin rummy: Knock, Gin or Undercut.
